Screen Designs
As I said in my previous posts, I've got my screen design down to two ideas. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

As steve said yesterday, I think an incorporation of the two would be most beneficial to you. I like the colour on the banner of the first screen, but the layout of the second.
Personally, I think the banner on screen one would look really good at the top of screen two.
Subjective opinion aside you have got to concentrate on what works whilst maintaining effective visual communication.
1.Take the navigation bar from the first design and combine that with the second design
2.Add a block of solid colour into your header and flip John Peel horizontal so he is looking into the page to improve composition
3.Position the strap-line between the header and the photograph
These are only my suggestions ☺
Thanks for your comment I found it really useful to go over the work so I would take most of your time this week and look over the work you have allready done in your study time.
Well done on your designs they look very good I think personally design 2 is the best.
Both of your designs are really good, I do prefer your first design as the web site title stands out more so it's easier to see and you can straight away tell who the web site is about and the design is well laid out.
