Screen Design 2 is my favourite.
Your choice of colours offers clarity and is with the use of yellow envokes a friendly easy to use website. The percentage of yellow you have used conforms to RNIB guidance, therefore meeting your target audience’s needs. However, it could be improved if the images were placed in circles to compliment your pie theme and positioned to the right of the screen rather than the left. This would allow your text more room to expand if you are planning to use CSS.

I think you're close to cracking the layout with design 2, it makes all the information easy to access. However, there's something about the purple I'm not too keen on. I agree with Mark about the contrast and the soft yellow text background but there's just something about the purple! Have you tried it with blue?

I like design 2 the best I think that the lay out is really good and the colurs are very eye catching.
I also prefer screen design 2. I think it is much simpler and cleaner and this can only be a good thing considering the target audience.
I also like Mark's idea about making the images round so that the fit in with the 'Easy as Pie' theme.
I think the second design is the one to choose.
I like the way you have laid out the images and text! It is easier to read than alot of websites out there. The colours also help with the design, they are simple and dont make it too hard to read!
